Many of us highlight the flaws of others and overlook our own. But what if, before every judgment, we looked inward? What if we were reminded that our own flaws and sins might be greater than all others? This article is an experience of a way of life: a method I have lived with for years and that has kept my path illuminated. For years, whenever I enter a gathering, before thinking about the flaws of others, I tell myself: perhaps my flaws and sins are greater than everyone else’s.
