Can We Expect from God While We Deliberately Walk Away from His Path ? Human beings sometimes carry the strangest contradictions within themselves. On one hand, they call upon God, ask Him for help, and place their hope in His mercy; yet on the other hand, they knowingly abandon the very path they believe came from Him. The difficult but necessary question is this: How can a person ignore the commands of their Creator, yet in moments of need expect the doors of His mercy to remain forever open? If someone respects a physician, accepts the prescription, and says they trust the physician's knowledge, but deliberately ignores every recommendation, can they reasonably expect to regain their health without changing anything? To us as believers, God is not merely Someone we remember in times of hardship. He is the Creator, the Guide, and the Sovereign over life. If I Were King of the Entire World for One Day Some people dream of becoming king so they can command others. But if I were King of the entire world for just one day, the first thing I would do would not be to build new palaces or issue thousands of decrees. Instead, I would place mirrors before every person in power so that, before looking at the people, they would first look at themselves. Because the world's greatest problem is not the lack of laws—it is the lack of conscience. History has known thousands of kings, presidents, emperors, and rulers. They all came with promises of justice, yet many left behind the smell of blood. Crowns changed, flags changed, the names of states changed, but the tears of mothers remained the same, and the graves of children remained the same graves.
